Network Administrator
A full-time, on-site Network Technician is required to support expanded operational and technical needs at a newly established Emergency Operations facility. The increased volume of network devices necessary for building operations requires dedicated support and ongoing maintenance.
The technician will integrate with the existing technical team and may be required to travel to additional agency locations as needed. All travel costs must be included.
Responsibilities include the decommissioning and relocation of existing network infrastructure from a legacy facility to the new location. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The technician will perform installations and configurations under the direction of the existing technical team. Proficiency with Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and security technologies is required. Additionally, the agency supports Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activities, and contract personnel must be available on an on-call basis to provide support as required.
These services may be needed outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, or during emergency events.
