Cyber Tek MSSP is currently seeking a System Administrator - Tier II to add to our team.

During your first month of employment, you will be trained on the Cyber Tek methods as well as the systems we use to provide service. We take a great deal of pride in providing our customers a high-quality experience and ensure that all our engineers are trained and to do so. Once our new employees go through the basic training provided, they will begin to learn in greater detail about how to fulfill the duties of their individual job roles.

The daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Daily Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Managing the software and hardware that involved with running a computer network.
  • Provide a full range of network, server, and workstation support for a diverse client base.
  • Remotely troubleshooting client issues or being onsite at a client office, providing superior IT customer service.
  • Duties include tracking network traffic and activity, installing and configuring software, updates, and performing database backups to restore and protect user information.
  • Professionally respond to telephone calls, emails, and web-based service requests.
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and quality support for clients.
  • Follow a service ticket through to its completion.
  • Meet or exceed key service metrics.
  • Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system
  • Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by user or monitoring system.
  • Keeping Systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs.
  • Analyzing, documenting and figuring out the system needs of an organization.
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users
  • The ability to stay organized.
  • Communication skills to facilitate productive working relationships.
  • Discretion in handling people’s private information on data servers and throughout the network.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work and collaborate within a team.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems and productivity software
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems, Group Policies, Active Directory, Office 365.
  • Advanced understanding of IP networking.
  • Thorough knowledge of Switches, Routers, and Firewalls.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in network administration, system administration or databases. This experience should include exposure to automation and scripting tools, as well as working knowledge of networking protocols, hardware and networking software.
  • Track Record of developing and implementing various IT strategies and plans.
  • Above average verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant Industry certifications.
  • Experience working as part of a team.
