We’re hiring a Technical Consultant (Data & Integrations) to combine data product ownership with technical consulting, covering areas such as API management and integration architecture.

We offer a remote working policy for all employees, albeit some UK travel will be required for training, events and periodically scheduled company meetings.

This role is a full‑time home‑based role, with typical working hours expected between 9am and 5.30pm, although we do like to finish a little earlier on Fridays at 5pm.

• The Technical Consultant at Elite Dynamics plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and supporting customer‑facing data products and services. This includes onboarding processes, system integrations, and advanced reporting solutions.
• This is a hybrid role that blends data product design (e.g., Power BI and reporting tools) with technical application consulting, particularly around complex onboarding workflows, API integrations, and third‑party systems.
• While internal reporting is a minor component, the primary focus is on revenue‑generating, customer‑facing initiatives & existing products.
• This is not a traditional internal data analyst position. Instead, it centres on building scalable data products, managing integrations, and supporting strategic customer projects.
• The role is evolving toward a hybrid model that combines data product ownership with technical consulting, covering areas such as API management and integration architecture.
• A key responsibility is integration ownership, including third‑party booking platforms such as Rentals United, Pitch Up, Hoseasons, and Campsites.
• The role may also encompass third‑party reporting tools (e.g., Jet Reports), with onboarding and training provided as needed.
• As the team transitions toward a functional/technical split, this position will support the technical stream, contributing to the delivery of robust, customer‑centric data solutions.

• 5+ years’ experience in ERP data extract transform and load
• Power BI expertise:
  Strong Microsoft data stack knowledge is essential, which may look like a minimum of three years’ experience, covering extraction, modeling, and visualization using Power
  
  BI desktop and cloud.
• Microsoft data stack:
  Strong skills in Excel, Power Query, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and related tools.
• Data integration exposure:
  Experience with integrations (ideally including APIs), onboarding, and data migration.
• Documentation and design:
  Ability to produce technical documentation, process artefacts, and change requests.
• Collaboration & adaptability:
  Experience working in collaborative data teams, rather than in standalone data specialist roles
• Customer/stakeholder communication:
  Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders, including customers as the role involves onboarding and integration
• Attention to detail and ownership:
  Strong sense of responsibility for deliverables and data quality.
• Holiday/travel industry experience:
  Direct or indirect exposure to the sector is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with alternative BI platforms such as Tableau.
