In this role, you will support our Information Security Officer in planning, implementing and assessing measures to maintain a high level of quality for information security at Hetzner.

• Assist with implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS): help develop, update, and manage policies, processes, and documentation

• Carry out risk analyses and vulnerability assessments: identify security risks and propose practical measures

• Provide support for security audits: participate in internal and external audits, and follow up on any findings

• Help run awareness and training programs: organize and teach training sessions and workshops for employees

• Support incident management: help with detection, analysis, and mitigation of security incidents

• Communicate with stakeholders: work closely with IT teams, business units, and external vendors

• Perform monitoring and write reports: generate reports on the state of information security and relevant key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Successfully completed degree or training in IT Security or a related field

• Professional experience in IT security, information security, or IT compliance

• Solid understanding of information security standards (e.g. ISO
  27001, BSI Basic Protection) and in-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, software development, and cybersecurity concepts

• Strong initiative, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a team

• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset and structured work style

• Excellent communication skills in German and English; a confident demeanor
