Human Resources Coordinator

Demonstrates knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures; maintains confidentiality of private, sensitive information and safeguards confidentiality of records.

• This position will provide administrative support to the Business Office Manager in daily tasks and aide in the essential administrative requirements of Lakeview Terrace residents and staff by coordinating and supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee benefits and payroll management.
• Processes new hire paperwork, assign employee numbers, issue badges and enrolls employees into time clock.
• Work together with supervisors and benefit administrator to ensure new full-time employees have the opportunity to enroll in the group insurance plan.
• Provides employee relations support to the management team. Responds to employee concerns as appropriate or escalates the matter to the Business Office Manager.
• Oversee employee status changes: transfers, terminations, full-time, part-time.

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree in human resources, Social Services or Business preferred.
• One year experience, preferable in a healthcare setting, in Human Resources assignments such as recruitment, background screening, orientation, benefits, FMLA administration or employee relations required.
• For purposes of effective communications with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English.
• Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 15lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years old, hold a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.

$20.00 - $26.00

A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be required for the finalist under consideration for this position. We are a drug free workplace.
