Join our Team! The Big Chill 30A is a family friendly entertainment complex located on historic 30A, nestled between Alys Beach and Seaside. Our venue hosts 5 restaurants, 3 bars, retail shops, an arcade, an amphitheater for live music and a 25’ LED Jumbotron for sports and movies. We are open year-round, from 7am to 10pm.
We are now hiring for the spring/summer season! Our restaurant concepts include Nectar, Local Smoke BBQ, Duos, Mile Marker 15 and Tacklebox, all with unique menu offerings. We have both Full Time and Part Time positions available and offer flexible scheduling for students/seasonal employees.
Job SummaryThe Guest Experience Specialist is the face of The Big Chill, providing exceptional service to ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their visit. This role focuses on creating memorable experiences by addressing guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and going above and beyond to exceed expectations. Our Guest Experience Specialist embodies our CARES culture and is critical to the success of our property.

- Embracing and contributing to a family friendly experience.
- Exceed the guest expectations by offering additional assistance, guidance & service throughout the guest's visit.
- Maintain service areas ensuring the outlet is prepared before, during and after the shift
- Uphold proper safety and sanitation standards
- Basic bussing and cleaning duties as required
- Contribute to the maintenance of all areas of the property
- Anticipate guests needs
- Create regular guests and connect with current regular visitors
- Greet guests arriving at The Big Chill
- Confidently guide, direct, and inform guests
- Excite guests by providing best in class hospitality
- Embrace and contribute to a team environment.
- Maintain positive interactions and attitude with team members and management
- Communicate effectively with team members & management
- Support the team by asking for and assisting where needed
- Report to scheduled shifts on time, in correct uniform and ready for the shift
- Adhere to all policies in THE BIG CHILL handbook
- Support team initiatives to meet or exceed guest satisfaction goals and KPIs
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Basic math skills
- Able to operate technology systems (POS, scheduling app)
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to reach, stoop, bend and lift
