Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is looking for a Valet Supervisor to join our team
Job Description:
The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a Valet Supervisor. The Valet Supervisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guest by safely and efficiently parking and retrieving their vehicles. The Valet Supervisors will also assist guests with luggage and provide directions and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet customers, park and secure vehicles, including locking doors and closing all hatches and windows.
- Retrieve cars at the guest's request in a timely manner and extend the initial friendly welcome to the hotel guests.
- Respond to guest questions, issues and problems regarding parking and retrieving the cars, hotel services, local directions, events, points of interest and activities.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist doorperson and bell staff as needed.
- Act as a van driver transporting guests as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record for the last 3 years.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 – 80 pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Skills:
Education:High school education or equivalent experience
Experience:Customer contact experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:Ability to drive all speed shifts of vehicles, van, limousines and automobiles. Excellent driving record as verified by Motor Vehicle Report.
- Ability to communicate with guests, respond to questions, knowledge of hotel services, local area events and activities.
Required:
Eight hours per day, forty hours per week; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
