Behavioral Health Aide

Labor Finders Brooksville is seeking dependable and compassionate Behavioral Health Aides to assist nursing staff at a new behavioral health facility. This position focuses on supporting the on‑duty nurse, maintaining safety, and assisting patients. Very little documentation is required. Experience is helpful but not required.

Behavioral Health Aides work closely with licensed nurses to provide basic patient support, maintain a safe environment, and assist with daily routines and behavior monitoring. This role is hands‑on and essential to maintaining patient stability and safety.

• Support the nurse with direct patient care tasks.
• Assist patients with meals, hygiene reminders, movement, and daily routines.
• Monitor behaviors and immediately report concerns to the nurse.
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and clean environment.
• Assist with safety checks and basic crisis‑prevention support.
• Interact respectfully and compassionately with all patients.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health, caregiving, residential care, etc. preferred but not required.
• Optional but helpful: CPI, CNA, Mental Health Tech, or similar training.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions from nursing staff.
• Ability to remain calm and steady under pressure.

• Must pass a drug screening.
• Must pass a background check with NO violent charges and NO healthcare‑related offenses.
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, assist patients, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work the shifts we are currently filling:
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Must be dependable and punctual.
