Activity Assistant – Weekend Shift

Grand Villa of Englewood is dedicated to providing a vibrant and engaging environment for our residents. We are currently seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Assistant to join our team on weekends, helping to create meaningful experiences and promote well‑being for our residents in assisted living.

• Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of recreational activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
• Assist in the development of activity schedules and special events
• Engage residents in social, physical, and cognitive activities to promote their overall wellness
• Monitor and ensure the safety of residents during activities
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and social interaction
• Collaborate with staff and family members to support residents’ individual needs and preferences

• Previous experience in activity planning or working with seniors preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative, energetic, and compassionate approach to engaging residents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 5pm
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adapt activities for various mobility and cognitive levels
