Base pay range$18.00/hr - $18.00/hr
Job SummaryLove caring for seniors? We're hiring. As a Caregiver at Beacon Home Care, you will provide compassionate support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, safety, and quality of life. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and light household tasks, while promoting dignity and respect.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
- Support with mobility assistance (transferring, walking), and ensuring safety.
- Provide meal preparation, feeding, and assistance with diet-related needs.
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing) to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Run errands, shopping, accompany to medical appointments as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in client’s physical, mental, or emotional condition to supervisor.
- Assist with medication reminders (nonmedical administration).
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow individualized care plans developed by Beacon Home Care.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and privacy regulations (HIPAA or equivalent).
- Drive client to appointments.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is an asset.
- Ability to lift/move clients safely.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and good work ethic.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
- Must pass background check
