Medical Surgical Unit - Registered Nurse

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - Advent Health West Florida and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Advent Health West Florida.

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

You must take a 6 month break between staff and travel for ALL Advent Health facilities.

Every other weekend.

All orders require to float to Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula as needed for staffing and other departments within their skill levels.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission.
