Full-time

Shift(s) availability: Cali 12 Rotations  (6am-6pm);  (8am-8pm);  (10am-10pm)

• Provide patient care in both emergency and non-emergency environments in alignment with company policy and medical director protocols.
• Respond to calls from the Ameri Pro EMS communications center and ensure unit readiness; maintain vehicle and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Complete required reports (e.g., Patient Care Reports, billing, exposure, incident reports) and unit check-offs daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Adhere to Ameri Pro EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives and standards; report deficiencies to the shift supervisor or Director of Operations.
• Ensure vehicle in-service compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain readiness and professionalism on-duty and in uniform; demonstrate self-motivation with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as required; demonstrate safe lifting, transferring, and maneuvering of patients as needed.

REQUIRED Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• State-specific EMT certification/licensure in good standing or current NREMT certification if applicable by state law
• Current CPR: BLS certification
• Valid state-specific Driver’s license
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
• Strong people skills and ability to collaborate within a team
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• FEMA IS certificates: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous EMT or similar medical role experience
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training

Provides patient care in both emergency and non-emergency environments. Ensures compliance with all State EMS rules and regulations. Checks and maintains ambulance equipment and vehicle cleanliness and readiness. Maintains all required licenses and certifications for an EMT position.
