Compensation:
CRT: $24.63 to $34.48/hr
RRT: $27.09 to $37.92/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10K FT Days (1 yr experience, 2-yr commitment), $20K FT Nights (1 yr experience, 2-yr commitment)

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is a 290-bed acute care hospital and a Level II Trauma Center located in Hudson, FL. The hospital is home to the nationally acclaimed Heart Institute and offers a comprehensive cardiac and open-heart program. Known for innovation and quality care, the hospital employs over 350 physicians and 1,300 colleagues.
The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) evaluates and manages patients respiratory needs, including the operation of acute care ventilators and delivery of routine and complex respiratory therapies across all ages.
Key ResponsibilitiesApply and operate acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation
Develop and implement respiratory care plans for patients
Administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures
Maintain accurate department and hospital records in the electronic system
Function independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader
Assist with patient care across age groups in acute care settings
QualificationsCompletion of Vocational/Technical program or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree);
Bachelors degree preferred
BLS certification required
ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire
Ability to perform frequent physical activity (standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving)
