Job SummaryThe Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) functions in a scrub role for operative and other invasive procedures including establishing and maintaining a sterile field, specimen handling, counts, medications/solutions, implants and instrument processing and may assist with circulating duties, as well as, participate in activities related to standards and quality improvement for the specialty and the department.
Required Qualifications- Require active national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Prefer knowledgeable of selected specialty.
- Prefer ability in one-on-one demonstration of sterile technique.
BLS:
Basic Life Support/CPR
CST:
Certified Surg Technologist
- Prefer knowledgeable of selected specialty.
- Prefer ability in one-on-one demonstration of sterile technique.
