Responsibilities

As a PTA, you will play a key role in outpatient therapy, sports medicine, and physical rehabilitation, working under a licensed Physical Therapist.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient treatments as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
  • Document each visit with treatment notes, progress updates, and patient assessments.
  • Instruct patients in exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and safe use of assistive devices.
  • Guide patients through gait training and mobility exercises.
  • Communicate patient status changes promptly to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor and mentor for PTA students.
  • Support the therapy team and clinic operations as needed.
About You

We’re looking for a PTA who is passionate about patient care, orthopaedics, and rehabilitation, thrives in a fast‑paced outpatient setting, and finds purpose in helping patients get back to living their best lives.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Active Florida PTA license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Compassionate, patient‑focused, and motivated to help people achieve their rehab goals.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Experience

Outpatient orthopaedic or sports medicine therapy experience; familiarity with WebPT or other EMR systems.
