ResponsibilitiesAs a PTA, you will play a key role in outpatient therapy, sports medicine, and physical rehabilitation, working under a licensed Physical Therapist.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient treatments as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
- Document each visit with treatment notes, progress updates, and patient assessments.
- Instruct patients in exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and safe use of assistive devices.
- Guide patients through gait training and mobility exercises.
- Communicate patient status changes promptly to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Serve as a clinical instructor and mentor for PTA students.
- Support the therapy team and clinic operations as needed.

Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Active Florida PTA license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Compassionate, patient‑focused, and motivated to help people achieve their rehab goals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Outpatient orthopaedic or sports medicine therapy experience; familiarity with WebPT or other EMR systems.
