The CT Technologist is responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality CT studies. The technologist ensures effective communication with customers, including radiologists, and trains new technologists and/or patient coordinators.

• Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections, and use aseptic injection techniques.
• Produce high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or patient coordinators.
• Troubleshoot the scanner, console, and peripheral equipment (e.g., monitors, PACS).

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Associate's degree preferred.
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist (ARRT) or certification by the NMTCB in Computed Tomography; state license required.
• State medical imaging license if applicable.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license (mid‑day moves).
• Strong customer service, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Basic computer application knowledge.
• COVID‑19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.

More than 50% of the time:

• Sit, stand, walk.
• Repetitive movement of hands, arms, legs.
• See, speak, and hear to communicate with patients.

Less than 50% of the time:

• Stoop, kneel, or crawl.
• Climb and balance.
• Carry and lift (ability to move non‑ambulatory patients).
