Your Specific ResponsibilitiesAssists with administrative grant management procedures for the Beach Management Funding Assistance Program and as needed for the Office of Resilience and Coastal protection, including reviewing and compiling grant agreement documentation, facilitating internal review procedures, communicating with local sponsors, and maintaining programmatic databases.
Assists in the execution of grant agreements including preparing documentation to be routed to local sponsors, providing customer service and administrative support to local sponsors, facilitating internal QA/QC procedures, and routing agreements for execution with FDEP leadership.
Compiles programmatic data and maintains databases and spreadsheets, including grant status, grant compliance assurance, and programmatic grant budgetary information. Assists with reconciliation of program disbursements and budget. Provides administrative support to the program regarding budget and clerical needs. Maintains program files and utilizes the FDEP online storage repository OCULUS.
In carrying out the duties of this position, the incumbent is expected at all times to be aware of and abide by the Department’s Standards of Conduct, as well as any and all departmental and/or work unit rules, directives, policies, procedures, and/or general orders applicable to performing the duties of this position.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of basic management principles and practices.
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
Ability to review and monitor policies and procedures for compliance with applicable requirements.
Ability to evaluate and analyze data relating to grants management activities.
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to grants management activities.
Ability to develop and organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, proposals and other written documents.
Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Knowledge of OCULUS
Knowledge of state contracting process
Minimum Qualifications- At least four years of verifiable, related professional experience in. Post‑secondary degrees may be used as an alternative for the required years of experience on a year‑for‑year basis. A credential evaluation report from an approved agency must be submitted along with all foreign degrees.
$20.00/hr.
