JOB SUMMARY

This position performs as a supervisor and is an excellent fit for critical thinkers. If you enjoy working with a team in a customer service environment and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

  • Managing a team of 6 operational staff.
  • Functioning as administrator, coach, and advisor and providing training to team members.
  • Working with the Service Center Manager to develop, implement and monitor operational plans.
  • Determining resource needs and shifting available resources to ensure the highest level of productivity.
  • Analyzing existing and new business requirements to determine gaps and provide solutions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • One or more years of experience with the Child Support Program.
  • One or more years of experience in explaining complex policies and procedures to employees, partners, or the public.
  • One or more years of experience coaching, mentoring, or instructing others.
  • One year of experience using effective communication through a variety of methods.
PREFERENCES
  • Six months experience within the Interstate Initiating or Interstate Responding Workgroup.
SPECIAL NOTES
  • Applicants can be housed in any Region; they will be required to travel to Tallahassee at least once on a quarterly basis.
  • In lieu of an SVT an Alternative Screening Tool will be used.
  • Applicants who are invited to interview will also have a work sample after their interview.

Salary: $49,793.88 - $60,231.84 / annually
