Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies related to problem-solving court data. Duties include data collection, verification, validation, organization, maintenance, and statistical analysis. The role involves presenting qualitative and quantitative data using various software applications, conducting statistical analyses, and developing and maintaining data reporting materials such as manuals, tools, and dictionaries. The position provides statistical, analytical, and research support to the Steering Committee on Problem-Solving Courts, the Problem-Solving Court Advisory Group, and other governance bodies.

Additional responsibilities include compiling, auditing, and analyzing court data, preparing detailed reports, offering technical assistance to courts, and responding to data and information requests. The role requires close collaboration with judges and court staff.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, research methodology, mathematics, or a closely related field.

Experience:

Four years of related experience, including experience in applied statistical research or statistical analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of and ability to apply modern research techniques and complex statistical analysis.
  • Ability to organize, maintain, and update a variety of detailed and complex records. Ability to operate a personal computer and a variety of statistical software programs.

The ideal candidate should possess a proficiency in data collection methods, statistical analysis, and presentation of data results, including the ability to illustrate findings in a variety of formats, such as charts and graphs. Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills and be able to work both independently and with a team. Ability to act as a project leader. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
