- Enforce Florida Statutes Section 570.65 related to agricultural law enforcement activities.
- Investigate criminal violations involving domestic animals, livestock, poultry, aquaculture products, farms, and farm equipment.
- Patrol designated counties, including Calhoun, Bay, Holmes, and Washington.
- Respond to emergency situations threatening life, limb, or property.
- United States Citizen.
- High School graduate or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age to apply; 19 years of age by hire date.
- Valid driver license with no more than four moving traffic violations within the past three years.
- No convictions of DUI or operating a vessel under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the past five years.
- No refusal to submit to breath, blood, urine test within the last five years.
- No illegal cannabis use within the last two years.
- No illegal controlled substance use (other than cannabis) within the last five years.
- No felony or misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement.
- No dishonorable discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States.
- Good moral character.
- One (1) year of law enforcement experience (sworn or non-sworn) OR
- Two (2) years of work experience OR
- Two (2) years of active and continuous military service.

- PASSING LE.BAT score or proof of exemption.
- OFFICE OF AGRICULTURAL LAW ENFORCEMENT Supplemental Employment Application.
- Oral Review Board.
- Background Investigation.
- Fingerprint Processing.
- Psychological Evaluation.
- Medical Evaluation.
- Drug Screening.
Salary: $60,000.20
Uniforms: All required uniforms provided at no cost; annual maintenance allowance $500.
Education Incentive Payment: Up to $130 monthly for completing career development courses or an associate/bachelor’s degree.
