Trading Analyst

Hi there,

I’m representing a Trading Analyst opportunity supporting a fast‑paced trading team in Juno Beach, FL. This is a long‑term contract role (2‑year engagement, renewing every 6 months) and is well‑suited for a technical financial analyst who enjoys working close to the trade floor, partnering with developers, and owning P&L‑driven reporting.

This role is 100% onsite (5 days/week) and reports directly to the Lead Trading Developer. The interview process is streamlined and will begin Wednesday, March 4th.

💼 2‑year contract (renews every 6 months)

💰 Pay Rate: $25-28/hr (based on professional experience)

📍 Location: Juno Beach, FL (onsite)

Must‑Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Strong Excel skills for ad‑hoc reporting (macros strongly preferred)
• SQL experience, including minor development and data maintenance
• Background as a Techno‑Functional Analyst or Financial Analyst in a technical environment
• Experience managing or supporting P&L reporting
• Comfortable working through large volumes of backlogged data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to support daily operational needs
• Must be local to Juno Beach, FL and able to work onsite 5 days/week

Nice to Have

• Interest in or exposure to trading environments
• Any experience with commodity trading
• Prior experience supporting a trade floor or trading operations team
• Experience working closely with developers or technical stakeholders

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Manage and support P&L reporting for the trading floor
• Partner closely with the Lead Trading Developer to support trading operations
• Build and maintain ad‑hoc financial reports using Excel
• Write and maintain basic SQL queries to support daily workflows
• Work through a large backlog of financial and trading data
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency to support real‑time trading decisions
• Provide ongoing analytical and operational support to the trading team
