GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Teller II conducts transactions with speed, accuracy, and efficiency, meeting or exceeding service quality standards while safeguarding bank assets assigned to them. This role contributes to the bank's growth by promoting and cross‑selling bank products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years of high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person‑to‑person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
MATH AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.
Ability to use common‑sense understanding in order to carry out simple multi‑step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with limited variables.

WORKING CONDITIONSPeriodically exposed to elements such as noise, intermittent standing, walking, occasionally pushing, carrying, or lifting; none are present to the extent of being disagreeable. The noise level is usually moderate.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIESSemi‑repetitive, low physical. Requires periods of concentration and ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and reach with arms. Frequent lifting up to 50 lb; regular lifting up to 25 lb. Close vision required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must have 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
- Must be able to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person‑to‑person and small group situations.
- Must have basic math skills and 10‑key.
- Must be able to maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude and appearance.
