Location: OdessaFinance Manager
Our client is immediately seeking a CPA to join them as Finance Manager in their Odessa, FL location.
The strategic-minded Finance Manager will report to the company President and manage a team of five. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all functions related to company financial performance and will have a dotted line of reporting to the parent-company CFO. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing business initiatives as a key member of the Senior Leadership TeamIdentifying and reviewing cost reduction opportunities for multiple business areasFacilitating the preparation of operating and capital budgets and budget forecastsOverseeing the month end close process and the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reportsReviewing operational and financial information packages and performing monthly and annual operating results analysisLeading, coaching and motivating finance team professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, operations and engineeringDriving the implementation of and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and policies.The ideal Finance Manager will possess these skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related disciplineCPA or Equivalent7-10 years accounting experience, with ideally some in a manufacturing environmentAbility to explain financial concepts to finance and non-finance professionalsStrong communication and analytical skills, with strong attention to detailSalary: To $150k + bonus
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
