There isn’t an average day for a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager – you’ll spend your time on a variety of tax‑planning projects, responsibilities, and tasks for a diverse client base. Your clients will turn to you for up‑to‑the‑minute tax advice they can always rely on. To make that happen, you’ll be leading teams and working in a highly collaborative culture where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is essential.

• Analyzing an evolving portfolio of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
• Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to clients.
• Researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Building client relationships and demonstrating deep knowledge of the real‑estate, hospitality, and construction industry.
• Developing clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities.
• Researching clients’ business operations and building long‑lasting relationships to tailor advice to specific needs.
• Supervising a motivated team of professionals, guaranteeing they have the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to reach their full potential.

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience within a professional services environment.
• Extensive knowledge of a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning, and structuring.
• Experience managing budgets, people, and projects.
• Business development within the market.
• A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
• The ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
• Strong influencing skills and confidence to question existing processes.
• Willingness to travel as needed and working in a balanced hybrid environment.

• CPA qualification or membership in a state bar.

• The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
