AM Engineering, LLC is looking for a Civil Engineering CAD Designer/Drafter, AutoCAD, Civil 3D with design proficiency for construction plan preparation of land development projects (including utilities and stormwater components). Projects include subdivision, multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial development. AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiencies must include grading, pipe networks, corridors, utility profiles and accurate earthwork computations. CAD designer/drafter will work under an engineer to develop construction drawings.
A strong knowledge of geometry, algebra, MS Excel and MS Word are required.

- Be detail-oriented with technically sound AutoCAD Civil 3D principles and practices, and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
AM Engineering is a medium-size consulting firm that specializes in the design and construction of residential and commercial land development projects including both large- and small-scale stormwater management facilities, water distribution systems, wastewater collection facilities, roadways, parking facilities, site grading and complete surveying services. AM Engineering has provided engineering services on hundreds of land development projects in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto Counties.
