Surveyor Party Chief - Primoris Energy Services

Primoris Energy Services is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Survey Technician to join our team in Mulberry, Florida. This field-based role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large scale earthwork and site development projects. As a Survey Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of construction survey data for our projects. You will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements, collecting and analyzing data, and providing valuable input to the project team.

Provide internal surveying service to ensure construction work complies with design drawing locations.

• Understanding and ability to use surveying equipment such as GPS, total station, data collectors, etc.
• Knowledge of Surveying techniques, procedures, and calculations.
• Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified by Project Manager or General Superintendent.
• Provide checking of as-built conditions that require use of surveying techniques.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
• Assist with conducting quantity calculations.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and perform basic calculations supporting work.
• Ability to work in a team environment and to communicate clearly.
• Ability to perform work tasks independently and safely.
• Experience in setting up heavy equipment GPS systems a plus.

• 3 or more years as a Construction Survey Technician.
• Field construction experience.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license prior to employment.
