Engineering Technician VI; AEGIS Weapon Systems Baseline, Operational Readiness and Test System

Thunderbolt Solutions is seeking to hire an Engineering Technician VI (AEGIS Weapon Systems Baseline9, Operational Readiness and Test System (ORTS)).

• Configure equipment in alternate structures to meet mission requirements.
• Provide fleet-level technical assistance, assessments, and logistical support for U.S. Navy shipboard AEGIS Weapon Systems Baseline9+ Operational Readiness and Test Systems using advanced mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure system readiness and safety compliance.
• Interpret and apply shipboard technical documentation, drawings, and schematics to diagnose, repair, configure, and document equipment deficiencies, ensuring accurate restoration and mission-capable system performance.
• Configure, integrate, and verify VLS and magazine safety equipment in alternate shipboard structures as required to support operational and mission-specific requirements, while maintaining compliance with Navy technical standards and safety protocols.
