Senior CMT Engineering Technician

• Perform field materials testing of soil, concrete, masonry, rebar, asphalt.
• Prepare detailed and complete field reports with all relevant test results and inspection observations.
• Carry out basic laboratory tests on soil and concrete and prepare reports of results.
• Evaluate site and subgrade conditions on construction projects and provide recommendations.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and engineering/technical staff regarding construction issues.

• ACI Level I Concrete and/or ICC certifications in soils, reinforced concrete, and masonry.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency in applying basic mathematical formulas and concepts to calculate quantities, estimate volumes, inspect constructed work, make recommendations, and perform field and laboratory calculations.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
