EssentialFunctions
- Create Engineering Change Requests to document required changes against existing products
- Product design using Creo
- Revise engineering drawings as required to maintain legacy product data
- Support configuration changes based on new sales to customers
- Support builds on the production floor
- Support internal and external technical help requests
- Conceptual design of new products and ideas to improve existing products
- Prototype construction and testing
- Materials/parts research and selection for use in product designs
- Create drawing packages
- Create and validate new designs (modeling/analyzing/drafting/BOM creation)
- Mark up drawings and create redlines for engineering incorporation
- Interpret and apply geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
- Support development and qualification testing
- Support evaluation of product non-conformities
- May require work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary to meet program objectives and deadlines

- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask
- Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and a high degree of initiative required
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in Creo and Windchill
- Proficient with 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting
- Proficient with ASME Y14 drafting and design standards
- Working knowledge of FAA Certification Practices
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Material Sciences or related fields
- 0-3 years’ experience in engineering or related industry, aerospace preferred
- Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
- All employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required.
