Position: Manufacturing Engineer (Onsite)
Location: Medley

What You Will Do

  • Support new and ramping Business/First Class seating programs by preparing the manufacturing facility for increased production volumes
  • Perform make‑versus‑buy analyses to support program and production strategy decisions
  • Develop and structure Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOMs) and routings based on engineering data and change notices
  • Create and maintain clear, effective work instructions to support safe, efficient, and repeatable builds
  • Design or support the development of jigs, fixtures, tooling, and parts presentation strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve flow
  • Conduct routine engineering analyses and process studies related to new methods, materials, or standards
  • Prepare process specifications, production aids, factory work standards, and MRP support studies as required
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations
  • Perform other related manufacturing engineering duties as needed to support program success
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience supporting manufacturing projects
  • Hands‑on experience designing jigs and/or fixtures to aid manufacturing processes
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing designs
  • Experience with SAP is a significant plus
  • Experience with Siemens NX or a similar CAD/modeling tool
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
