Water​/Wastewater Engineer

We are currently searching for an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to support our Southeast Region located in any of our Florida offices.

To be considered, applicants must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering.

• Designing water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater distribution planning, master planning, and treatment plant rehabilitation and expansions.
• Managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and providing regular communication and guidance with less experienced staff.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external clients to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects.
• Maintaining a high degree of quality in sets of plans and checking the work of others.
• Creating work plans and adhering to the budget set by the client and performing strong project management.
• Attending meetings and communicating with clients, government entities, and regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projects.
• Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.

• Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Florida.
• 5‑10 years of relevant engineering design experience and FDOT experience.
• Municipal engineering experience including designing pump stations, pipelines, water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• Experience performing hydraulic modeling (e.g., Water
  
  GEMS, Sewer
  
  GEMS, Info Water).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
