Position: Field Service Engineer with Security Clearance
Location: Hurlburt Field

Description
* performing a variety of technical functions in support of engineering activities such as troubleshooting, test, modification, assembly, and maintenance and repair of electronic systems and other specialized avionics equipment
* evaluating components, subsystems, test equipment, and software
* providing technical support to air force customers on operations and maintenance of assigned communications/surveillance equipment
* performing aircraft installation, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment
* supporting aircraft flight test and engineering evaluations of new systems and system configurations
* assisting in training junior level electronics technicians and air force personnel to perform general fabrication, assembly, test and evaluation, and documentation tasks
* deploying worldwide with afsoc personnel in support of exercise and contingency operations including hostile environments #li-tf1 requirements
* minimum of five (5) years of aircraft avionics maintenance experience, jtws equipment experience, or equivalent dod sigint experience
* must be able to operate as a single maintainer at either conus or oconus locations to include hostile areas desired skills
* eight (8) plus years of experience with afsoc, af or dod sigint/comint, ew, guidance & control or comm/nav systems
* knowledge of af and afsoc organizational structure
* knowledge of dod sigint/comint employment concepts
* familiarity with usaf, afsoc aircraft maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures
* comptia security+ certified or within 12 months clearance information src is a contractor for the u.s. Government, this position will require u.s. Citizenship as well as, a u.s. Government security clearance at the top secret level with top secret / sci eligibility travel requirements
