The Systems Engineering and Test Center (SETC) organization is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Eglin AFB, FL location. SETC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and test to shape innovative solutions for our customers. Join our organization and experience the Systems V engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, chief engineers, chief technologists, the customer, and so many more to ensure we design, integrate, test and strengthen our systems to work the first time and every time for our warfighters!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on an effectors project pertinent to the systems lifecycle. This role is 100% on‑site at our Eglin AFB, FL facility.
What You Will DoIn this Systems Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:
- Perform integration, verification, and testing in the lab or the field to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.
- Perform data collection activities, including review and analysis of data elements, and provide quick look reports of results.
- Trace and/or correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems. Familiarity with failure reporting, analysis, corrective action and/or fault tree analysis.
- Create/modify documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages.
- Support Flight Line testing outside around operational aircraft which may require working non‑standard and extended hours.
- Travel required both domestic and international, typically for a one‑ or two‑week duration.
- Obtain and maintain additional program access as required.

This position requires you to work on site in Eglin AFB, FL. No remote work available.
Must be capable of lifting at least 25 lbs. and performing work in an industrial environment.
Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Hardware Systems Integration experience
- Weapons systems Integration experience onto an aircraft military platform
- Weapons system flight test experience with aircraft
- Experience with troubleshooting and failure process
- Experience with the use of lab/field test equipment
- Experience supporting field tests
