Overview
Are you ready to use your leadership skills in aviation regulations and aircraft maintenance in a managerial position? Join our team! As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all aircraft repair and maintenance activities and ensuring those activities are performed safely, on-time, and within budget. You'll ensure all foreign object inspections and activities are completed, ensure projects are properly staffed with qualified employees and establish work standards, hours of work and appropriate shifts to be worked to accomplish work on small programs.
You'll also review maintenance delays and system problems in order to suggest improvements to maintenance processes and procedures. You will have overall responsibility for the airworthiness of the fleet and will ensure safe and adequate maintenance is performed at all times with the exception of platform supporting programs.

- B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experience
- Typically, 4+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience.
- Familiarity with aviation safety standards, FAA regulations, policies, and procedures and safe operating practices.
- Basic understanding of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to service.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
- A&P Certificate.
- Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Inspection Authorization, Previous Part 135 or 121 MX management experience.
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.

This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
