DepartmentEducational Psychology and Learning Systems, Anne Spencer Daves College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, and the Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR).
ResponsibilitiesCandidates will maintain a rigorous grant‑writing and research program, teach graduate‑level courses, train and supervise master’s and doctoral students, and participate in university governance commensurate with rank.
The position involves teaching, research, and service within either the Learning and Cognition or the Measurement and Statistics Program. It includes a joint appointment with the Florida Center for Reading Research and carries a reduced teaching assignment with high expectations for research productivity.
Qualifications- PhD in Educational Psychology, Measurement, Developmental Psychology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated evidence of rigorous research productivity, including an independent program of research with peer‑reviewed publications and competitive external grant funding.
- Demonstrated commitment to graduate teaching and training, including evidence of developing doctoral students.
- Demonstrated commitment to continued grant‑funded research and scholarly productivity.
- Evidence of federally funded research activities.
- A research program related to intervention and instruction in reading, writing, or both; professional development in reading or writing; development or evaluation of reading or writing assessments; or similar reading‑ or writing‑related topics.
