The Student Support Coordinator plays a vital role in promoting student success across grades K–12. This position provides academic, administrative, and operational support to students and faculty, coordinates Student Support Plans (SSPs), and ensures that students receive the accommodations and resources necessary to thrive.

The Student Support Coordinator serves as a liaison among students, parents, faculty, administration, and outside service providers, helping to maintain efficient academic processes and a structured, Christ-centered learning environment.

Status: Full-time, salaried

Education and Experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of administrative or academic support experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Job Functions Student Support & Services
  • Manage and oversee Student Support Plans (SSPs), including drafting plans as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with SSP accommodations and provide guidance to teachers regarding implementation.
  • Provide direct services to SSP students, including individual or small-group tutoring.
  • Coordinate test accommodations including proctoring, extended time management, and approved modifications.
  • Monitor academic progress reports and academic improvement plans; communicate relevant updates to administrators.
  • Support new students throughout their first year to ensure a smooth academic transition.
  • Assist students in accessing tutoring, advising, and other academic resources.
Admissions & Academic Coordination
  • Assist in the admissions process by identifying applicants who may require academic support.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Registrar, and Student Services to ensure seamless academic transitions.
  • Track and manage academic documentation, reports, and departmental records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records in compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.
Communication & Faculty Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for academic support–related inquiries.
  • Act as liaison between the school and therapists, tutors, and related service providers.
  • Communicate academic policies, procedures, deadlines, and updates to students and staff.
  • Assist faculty with preparation of instructional materials as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to move throughout campus buildings as needed during the school day.
  • Maintain designated working hours as assigned by the Head of School.
  • Willingness to adjust work hours to accommodate special schedules or school-related activities as requested.
