ResponsibilitiesThe FSU College of Social Work Brevard Network Coordinator interfaces with students, alumni, faculty & staff, and local Brevard community organizations to:
Support FSU Social Work students and alumni in Brevard County. Organize and plan events for networking, professional development, and admissions recruitment. Write articles about network events and members. Create and distribute the Brevard Network newsletter. Links Brevard County students and alumni with online and on-campus opportunities for professional development and networking with the FSU College of Social Work. Attend and represent FSU College of Social Work at local community events to promote the FSU College of Social Work.
Assist with local recruitment for FSU CSW programs and the Spearman Scholarship at the College of Social Work. Produces monthly reports on activities. Maintains the Brevard Network website in collaboration with the College of Social Work's marketing and IT teams. Meets regularly with members of the FSU College of Social Work to ensure consistency in branding, record keeping, and adherence to FSU protocols and to coordinate planning for the Brevard Network.
- Bachelor's degree or current MSW student
- Applicants should live in Brevard County, FL and be an enrolled student at FSU College of Social Work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Able to foster and grow relationships with community organizations and individuals.
