Responsibilities- Responsible for coordinating & supporting student engagement programs. Implements day-to-day operations for the 5 main programs:
Garnet & Gold Goes Green, Food Recovery Network, Eco-Reps, Seminole Organic Garden & re Cycle Bike under established program frameworks. Additional initiatives & programmatic opportunities extend past the core programs. Supervises part-time student employee program coordinators. Coordinates schedules, meetings, training, & program logistics. Supports student leadership development & continuity of student-led initiatives. Advises affiliated student organizations in alignment with Sustainable Campus goals.
Maintains program documentation, calendars, & transition materials to ensure continuity. - Supports the delivery of sustainability education and co-curricular programming developed by Sustainable Campus. Implements sustainability curriculum, presentations, tabling, & engagement across campus contexts (classes, residence halls, orientations, etc.). Provides presentations to educate the FSU community about sustainability & FSU’s sustainability programs. Assists with tracking participation, learning outcomes, & program effectiveness. Collects data, feedback, & metrics to support assessment and reporting. Collaborates with the Sustainability Manager to refine & improve program delivery.
- Coordinates educational events & outreach activities in collaboration with campus & community partners. Assists with planning & executing sustainability events, workshops, & campaigns. Facilitates or co-facilitates sustainability colloquiums, trainings, & forums. Serves as a point of contact for outreach logistics. Supports fundraising efforts for Sustainable Campus. Contributes to communications, promotional materials, and the overall image of Sustainable Campus.
- Minimum of a Bachelor s Degree and two years of sustainability-related programming experience.
- Candidates with a Master s degree in a sustainability-related field, Engage 100 teaching credentials, and demonstrated experience in managing student volunteers, supervision, and working in sustainability are strongly preferred.
