Organizational Unit
The Institute for School-Community Partnerships, Integrated Services, and Child Mental Health and Educational Policy (ISCP), part of the College of Education, envisions safe, effective environments to improve academic, social, and emotional growth of all students statewide and nationally.
Position Summary
The Director supports Strategic Improvement initiatives, overseeing federal program(s) and managing staff, program development, implementation, and project budget. The role requires high performance, deadline adherence, multitasking, and professional stakeholder engagement.
- Lead federal program development and oversight, including application and amendment reviews, budget establishment, data collection, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage the Migrant Student Information Exchange (MSIX) system and provide technical assistance to stakeholders.
- Monitor school district compliance with federal program requirements, including application reviews and real-time monitoring activities.
- Facilitate training and technical assistance to Florida Department of Education (FDOE) and school district personnel on grant management, compliance, and capacity building through face-to-face and virtual platforms.
- Supervise and manage federal program staff, directing operations, hiring, performance appraisals, work plans, and attendance approvals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven years of experience, or Master’s degree and five years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education or related field; three years of administrative experience and grant management experience.
- Criminal History Background Check – Level 1 and Level 2.
