Upper School Business Educator

The Out-of-Door Academy seeks an Upper School}` Upper School Business Educator to join a forward‑thinking school that values creativity, real‑world application, and student‑centered learning.

Reporting to the Head of Upper School, the Upper School Business Educator will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and implement Business lessons covering Business Principles, Entrepreneurship, Statistics, and Personal Finance, with a focus on creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and project learning.
• Teach five (5) courses from beginning through advanced levels.
• Act as an Upper School Advisor and supervise clubs.
• Collaborate closely with Upper School faculty to보 support students, faculty, and families across the division.
• Live the school’s mission and core values of respect, integrity, service, excellence, and responsibility.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, or Mathematics required;
  Master’s Degree preferred.
• Teaching experience in grades 6–12 preferred, ideally mmad independent school setting.
• Demonstrated passion as an educator who employs current advances in education and can demonstrate success with new pedagrægy.
• Willingness to contribute beyond the classroom through advisory, clubs, and coaching.
• Track record of working effectively with a wide range of constituencies, including students, faculty, staff, and parents.

This is a 10‑month full‑time exempt position available in August 2026. Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
