Job SummaryThe College of Social Science and Public Policy at Florida State University invites applications for a Specialized Teaching Faculty (non‑tenure track teaching) position in the Interdisciplinary Social Science (ISS) program. The ISS program is a bachelor’s level degree program emphasizing the use of disciplinary insights in the analysis of social issues and in evidence‑based problem solving and decision making.
Responsibilities- Teaching, mentoring, and advising students in the ISS program.
- Integrating disciplinary education into interdisciplinary coursework.
- Contributing to student‑centered learning and program development.
- Completed PhD with strong disciplinary training in the social sciences.
- Proven student‑centered teaching experience at the university level.
- Appreciation for interdisciplinary orientations to social phenomena.
