Part-time Instructional Aide

St. Anthony Catholic School is a historic and picturesque VPK-8th Grade Diocesan School located in San Antonio, Florida. We are seeking a part-time classroom aide to assist in our 5th grade classrooms, approximately 24 hours per week.

We are a community of hard-working, faith-filled people who love the work we do and the students we teach. We are seeking someone who consistently strives for what is best for students, is creative and collaborative, never stops learning, and wants to be part of a team with high expectations while having fun in the process.

Classroom instructional aides assist their assigned classroom teacher(s) with such duties as administrative support, small group instruction, and supervision during recess and lunch. The ideal candidate communicates well with students, colleagues and parents and upholds the teachings of the Catholic faith.

Selected candidates must complete a Level II background screening and a series of Safe Environment-related courses to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and community.

• Provide administrative support and assist the classroom teacher with daily tasks.
• Assist with small group instruction and targeted learning activities.
• Supervise recess and lunchroom to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues and parents.
• Uphold the teachings of the Catholic faith in the school setting.
