- Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.
- Develop discipline‑related curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, college activities and serve on committees.
- Maintain college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.
- Teach 45 points, maintain office hours during college business hours, and participate in committees, work teams, meetings, and special projects.
- Work as a 168‑day, tenure‑track faculty member on a continuing contract with a five‑year continuing contract earning process for continued employment.
- Teaching assignment hours may vary.

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following.- Master’s degree in Psychology or Counseling Psychology OR Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology or Counseling Psychology.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and on multiple campuses if needed.
- Teaching and occupational experience recognized.
- Ability to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom; must be able to use the technology required for the assigned course. Coursework within the degree must reflect competencies in the courses to be taught.
- Must demonstrate cultural competency to engage and work with a diverse student and employee population.
For positions that require a college degree, Palm Beach State only recognizes degrees confirmed from institutions that are accredited by one of the seven regional accrediting organizations. Degrees from outside the United States must be validated by an organization belonging to the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). An evaluation report from an accrediting organization must be attached prior to the Final date to receive applications of each position.
MinimumBase Pay
The minimum base pay for this position starts at $50,000.00 annually; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience.
