Responsibilities- Manage the scholarship application process, evaluate eligibility criteria, disburse awards, and provide ongoing support to current students.
- Collaborate with various departments to establish scholarship criteria and selection processes.
- Maintain accurate records of scholarship recipients and funds disbursed.
- Provide one‑on‑one counseling to students regarding financial aid options, including scholarships, grants, loans, work‑study programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations governing financial aid programs.
- Prepare reports on scholarship utilization and other relevant data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a resource for students seeking information on scholarships, financial aid policies and resources for managing educational expenses.
- Stay informed about changes in financial aid regulations and best practices in scholarship administration.
- Act as the liaison to FSU Financial Aid to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial aid awards.
- Provide guidance and support to students and families navigating the financial aid process.
- Monitor and analyze financial aid data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in financial aid administration.
- Other duties as assigned.
A bachelor's degree and four years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (
Note:
a combination of post‑high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
- Experience in higher education financial aid and scholarships.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience working in financial aid at a college or university, with a strong understanding of federal and state financial aid programs and regulations.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced data‑driven environment.
- Proficiency with financial aid software and systems.

Anticipated Salary RangeHigh $40,000’s – low $50,000’s, commensurate with education and experience.
