Job Description Summary Saint Leo University is looking for a strategic, service-minded professional to serve as Manager of Campus Visit and Events. This role leads and delivers a high-touch, high-impact visitor experience that reflects the best of Saint Leo, from guiding that first call or campus tour to large-scale visit events. Reporting to the AVP of University Campus Admissions and collaborating closely with the Admissions leadership team, this role brings operational savvy, people-centered hospitality, and event execution together to move the needle on recruitment and yield.
The Manager also supervises the front desk experience, serves as a daily presence for front desk employees, and directs student ambassador engagement across all touchpoints.##
Job Description #
** Duties and Responsibilities Campus Visit and Event Strategy
*** Lead strategy and execution for on-campus visit experiences that meet prospective student needs and support institutional recruitment goals
* Develop annual calendar for high-visibility events including but not limited to Open House, Admitted Students Day, MANE Event, Look at Leo, and custom group visits
* Manage logistics for events including venue booking, campus coordination, run-of-show development, and internal collaboration with departments and faculty
* Build event marketing plans in partnership with University Campus Enrollment Marketing and Admissions to drive attendance and engagement
* Coordinate Student Ambassadors and volunteers to support tours and events#
** Front Desk Operations and Guest Services
*** Serve as the manager of admissions front desk employees - the points of contact for visiting students and families
* Maintain a warm, organized, and professional reception area reflective of Saint Leo’s mission
* Ensure that employees are answering incoming calls for admissions, the switchboard and emails with urgency and helpfulness
* Maintain hospitality such as water, wayfinding, and check-in while offering a personal, student-first welcome
* Support golf cart management for tours, including opening and closing and general upkeep#
** Student Ambassador and Campus Tour Oversight
*** Recruit, train, and supervise student ambassadors who conduct tours and support events
* Develop tour scripts and training materials that authentically communicate Saint Leo’s value proposition
* Coordinate daily tour scheduling and assignment of ambassadors for walk-ins and events
* Step in to lead campus tours as needed, especially for high-profile or group visits#
** Internal and External Partnerships
*** Partner with Undergraduate and International Admissions teams to align the visit experience with recruitment strategy
* Work across departments such as Athletics, Financial Aid, Academics, and Student Life to create meaningful visit touchpoints
* Build and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community partners, and external organizations
* Represent Saint Leo at selected off-campus recruitment events and student receptions#
** Administrative and Operational Management
*** Monitor event and visit performance, track attendance, no-show rates, and satisfaction to refine strategy
* Submit facilities, IT, and maintenance tickets as needed to maintain space readiness
* Maintain updated knowledge of academic programs, student services, and admissions policies
* Identify and implement ongoing improvements to scheduling, communications, and guest flow#
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s Degree degree preferred; experience in admissions, event planning, or customer service may be considered
* Experience in campus visits, event management, admissions, or hospitality
* Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills
* Experience training or supervising staff or student workers
* Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) a plus
* Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events#
