Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified acute care surgeon to join our team of highly trained, multi-specialty surgeons. The Memorial Division of General Surgery offers comprehensive surgical care to a diverse patient population across various hospitals and office locations in Broward County. The ideal candidate will have completed training in an ACGME-accredited program. Candidates with experience in minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgery are strongly encouraged to apply.

The selected surgeon will join the acute care surgical team, providing care for acute care patients in our hospitals. Responsibilities include sharing on-call duties with other acute care surgeons and the general surgery team on a rotating basis, handling ER and hospital consults, and performing surgical procedures for these patients.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
