Locums Emergency Medicine Physician -Nocturnist

We are seeking an experienced Locums Emergency Medicine Physician – Nocturnist to provide overnight coverage at a busy emergency department in Sarasota, Florida, as well as at associated freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs). • Schedule: Overnight shifts (Nocturnist role)
• Annual Volume: 27,000 visits
• Emergency Department Features:
  • 19 recently renovated beds
  • 24-hour physician coverage
  • Modern, well-equipped facilities
• Work Locations: Main hospital ED and associated freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs)

• Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Provide coverage at both the main ED and associated FSEDs as needed.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using the facility’s EMR.
• Maintain professionalism and efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Completed Emergency Medicine residency training
• Active Florida Medical License
• Current DEA License
• Must be willing and able to work at both the main ED and FSED locations
