. This position is located in Redington Beach, Florida. We are hiring immediately and seek a licensed professional to conduct building plan review and on‑site inspections, ensuring compliance with the Florida Building Code and related regulations.

• Examine building permit applications, including blueprints, specifications, surveys, product approvals, shop drawings, and other required documents for compliance with the Florida Building Code and related regulations.
• Prepare written and electronic reports and issue notices of correction.
• Meet with design professionals, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss technical code issues during the plan review process.
• Inspect buildings and other facilities to ensure compliance with applicable codes.
• Respond to inquiries from homeowners, contractors, architects, engineers, and others regarding codes and review procedures.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as attending meetings, preparing reports and correspondence, filing documents, and answering telephone calls.
• Maintain records of customer service issues and resolutions, research problems and complaints, and enforce and explain relevant code sections.
• Assume additional related duties as assigned by the manager.

• Licensed general contractor for a minimum of five (5) years.
• State of Florida Plan Review License (PX) in building, or State of Florida Inspector License (BN) in building, or ICC residential and commercial Plans Examiner/Inspector certification.
• Certifiable or already certified as a Building Plans Examiner by the Miami‑Dade County and/or Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Florida Building Code and other applicable construction regulations.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and evaluate code requirements for residential and commercial projects.
