Highly responsible customer service focused attendant to act as a point of contact with eco-tourists and residents within Crystal River, FL. Specialist to provide information about Three Sisters Springs and Crystal River to guests on the phone and in person with or without direct supervision. Specialist will interact professionally with other employees, customers, and local community members. Specialist will also facilitate ticket sale operations for Three Sisters Springs both at the front gate of the property and at the Three Sisters Springs Center.
This position is responsible for providing general visitor information about Crystal River, Three Sisters Springs, and Citrus County. Specialist will complete in person ticket sales, driving visitors using a transit passenger van, and other projects as necessary to ensure high quality visitor experience. Specialist will assist the Director with staffing and workload during peak tourist times.
- Greet visitors, ascertain the nature of the business, promote City events, amenities, and activities to the public.
- Provide information regarding the Three Sisters Springs and its history, West Indian Manatees, Florida wildlife, local ecotourism opportunities and general information regarding the Crystal River and Citrus County.
- Complete ticket sales (credit card and cash transactions) in person.
- Perform cash & credit transactions: handling money, making correct change, and maintaining an accurate cash drawer.
- Assist the Director of Visitor Services in fulfilling day-to-day staffing and management needs for the Three Sisters Springs Center and the Front Gate Ticket Booth of Three Sisters Springs Wildlife Refuge.
- Receive and resolve visitor complaints and issues as required, reporting all complaints to the Director.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of customer services experience. A comparable amount of training, education or experience can be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
