PRINTER

Location: Palm Beach

Performs skilled work in offset, wide format, flexo printing, and digital duplication within a centralized printing and copying operation. This includes color printing, such as black ink/single standard pre-mixed color printing, as well as full color printing. The Printer is responsible for operating offset, wide format, flexo printing presses and digital duplicating equipment, handling paper sizes up to 13" x 19" and roll widths up to 65".

Job orders include forms, reports, flyers, booklets, envelopes, letterhead, posters, banners, labels, stickers, decals, and signage. Duties require performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment, providing customer service both in person and over the phone, and managing supplies and inventory. Work is reviewed by the Graphics Production Coordinator for accuracy and adherence to Department requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:

* Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification and experience directing the work of others in the operation of printing presses and bindery equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications include:

* Two (2) years of experience in the operation of printing presses/digital printing, and

* Experience with 4-color printing.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
